We'll be back on the north shore May - October 2019

Come see us Saturdays, June - October, 9am-1pm at the Cook County Farm and Craft Market!
Experience and observe Thai massage or just stop by and say hi!

Located in the Cook County Senior Center parking lot at 10 Broadway Grand Marais, MN.

We instruct interactive, intuitive, group and one-on-one classes in the Thai healing arts and provide personalized, free-style Thai bodywork sessions.

Doing our part to humbly spread knowledge of the compassion, versatility and therapeutic value of Thai style bodywork. We are nomadic providers, traveling between the Arizona desert and Minnesota’s north shore of Lake Superior. June - October, in-studio bodywork sessions available in Grand Marais, MN and cabin calls (we come to you!) available in the nearby surrounding area. Arizona and surrounding area classes available winter & spring. Minnesota and surrounding area classes available summer & fall.

Two Birds' aim is to integrate eastern concepts of bodywork and healing with western students and clientele to help unlock their intuitive healing potential through bodywork. We take a unique approach by explaining and moving beyond cultural interpretations and misunderstandings about Thai and other eastern healing practices.
Through years of experience we have learned, a relaxed mental state is essential to truly give or receive a beneficial massage. This state allows the body's natural healing processes to work. We have worked with thousands of diverse people over the years and noticed a majority that may have trouble understanding the foundation of these concepts. We coach our students and clients to recognize the concept of "letting go" and what that may feel like within themselves in order to deepen their understanding of healing through bodywork.  Studies with our beloved Ajahn Pichest Boonthumme in Northern Thailand have given us this unique approach to teaching and practicing. This almost effortless style is the most therapeutic massage you can find today.

Two Birds Thai Bodyworks, LLC was founded by Peter Bird and Melanie Eldridge. We met at Miraval in Tucson, Arizona, practicing Thai energy/bodywork. There, we co-created treatments, trained therapists and ultimately created and developed Take Home Thai and Naga Thai massage. We are still involved, training Thai massage and Naga Thai massage for Miraval's massage therapists. We have studied with eastern and western teachers over the world. With backgrounds in shiatsu, ayurveda, reiki, western massage and yoga, we have close to 40 years combined experience in the field of bodywork, energy work and massage therapy.
